We completed this turnkey fit out of the new headquarters, of which we were also architects, for the tenants, the Agricultural and Horticultural Development Board.
Working intensely with the end users, we were able to directly reflect their role as an organisation if the rural-agricultural sector. The embedded willow screen at the entrance and reception artwork emphasises the connection to the natural environment. Each of the four wings was themed around the concept of the five seasons to bring identity and colour to the departments. Meeting rooms became named by weather and ancient and modern rural proverbs provided visual interest, wayfinding and graphics.
The result is a building that works in complete harmony with its users and expresses the client organisation’s ethos and personality from the moment one steps across the threshold.
